Every detail of this wedding was perfectly coordinated and absolutely exquisite!
The photos are exquisite thanks to the talented and lovely photographer Holly Clark.
The ceremony was a Protestant ceremony with legal significance and took place in the English garden of the villa which was full of lavender, rosemary and assorted wild flowers which, coincidentally were the colors and theme of the wedding itself. This may have been the only detail left to chance and it worked out perfectly all the same. Directly following the ceremony was the cocktail hour and seated dinner. The dinner took place on the main lawn which looked completely different from the night before when it hosted the movie night. For the wedding it was transformed into a formal garden and was festooned with string lights with one long, dramatic dinner table to give it a festive atmosphere. The centerpieces were mainly aromatic herbs and lavender but with the occasional purple hydrangea adding a little color. To complete the centerpieces were lots and lots of candles in all sizes.
After the dinner was finished the guests followed along to the pond area where they were surprised with an enchanted forest of hanging lights from the trees leading up to the pond where the cake cutting took place. Then all of a sudden they were surprised with fireworks bursting forth. From the pond the guests were lead over to the after dinner dancing area by a saxophonist and percussionist with a brief stop along the way to greet the couple with sparklers. Then on to party the night away with a DJ Live. The wedding was an intimate group with only about 60 guests but they were all hand selected by the couple and it was an overall young group who partied late into the night together with the bride and groom. It was certainly a celebration that will be remembered by all for many, many years to come!
